“Talent is a pursued interest. Anything that you’re
willing to practice, you can do.” ~ Bob Ross
I am so privileged to be invited as one
of the guests for the Creative Doodling and Coloring Workshop by The Crafters Marketplace. I
attended the class last Friday along with fellow mommy bloggers. It was also my
first event with Mommy Bloggers PH!
The workshop was led by a very seasoned artist, Ian De Jesus.
He is a passionate artist. In fact, he is the same person who created the doodle on the wall, his biggest doodled art thus far! This gave me an idea of our
future homeschool room, Lord willing.
We were provided with Faber-Castell Polychromos Colour
Pencil, a high-quality pencil used by professional artists around the world! Feeling professional with these!
Ian started with the basic rules. He taught us some coloring techniques. We also did some line drills and reviewed the color wheel. We’re all dumbfounded with how the color wheel has been very useful in choosing color combinations.

He also explained what “doodle” means. He
reminded us of our school days where we used to draw at the back of our
notebook while listening to the professor, that’s actually what doodle is!
I thought to doodle was hard but the key is to do it
without overthinking. The first step to creating your doodle art is to draw
your beginning lines to start from. The design is really up to you. It can be abstract shapes or objects, you’re totally free.
You will always look forward to what you will end up with when finished!
Creating
doodle art is so much fun. It is such a great way to relax after a
stressful day. We had a great time during the class. Ian made
everything easy for us and he helped us to feel confident about ourselves. It
was an art day we won't forget!

I got
the chance to visit The Crafters Marketplace store
before the workshop started. It is full of stylish jewelry and accessories
with intricate designs. They have a wide variety of handmade
items!
If you are looking for a perfect gift for any occasion, this is a great place to go. Rest assured all items are unique.
